Discussion Held on the Implementation of Public Welfare Schemes of the Central and State Governments

Jaipur। A meeting of the District Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee was organized on Monday at the District Collectorate Auditorium. Held in the presence of Jaipur Rural MP Rao Rajendra Singh, Jaipur MP Manju Sharma, Dausa MP Murarilal Meena, and Sikar MP Amraram, the meeting focused on discussing key issues of public interest within the district, including electricity, water, roads, and health.
The Jaipur MP stated that drinking water is a fundamental necessity for the common man. In view of the approaching summer season, instructions have been issued to the Water Supply Department to ensure adequate arrangements for drinking water within Jaipur city. She further directed the concerned departmental officials to complete, on a priority basis, all approved works under the MP/MLA Local Area Development (MPLADS/MLALADS) schemes aimed at improving drinking water facilities in Jaipur district within the next 15 days. She also instructed the District Collector of Jaipur to convene another meeting after one week to review the resolution of drinking water-related issues in the district.
She issued directives to clean all drains and sewers in the city on a priority basis before the onset of the monsoon season, ensuring that the general public does not face any inconvenience due to waterlogging during rainfall. Furthermore, she instructed the concerned departmental officials to conduct ward-wise camps to extensively publicize the ‘PM Street Vendors’ Atmanirbhar Nidhi’ (PM SVANidhi) scheme, with the aim of extending its benefits to the maximum number of street vendors.She also directed the concerned officials to undertake the proper development and beautification of the Dravyavati River—which flows through the heart of Jaipur—with the objective of transforming it into a tourist destination.Finally, the Jaipur MP instructed officials of the Municipal Corporation to make appropriate arrangements for seating and shade at the city’s cremation grounds—specifically at the Chandpole Mokshdham—to provide shelter against the sun and rain for individuals attending funeral processions. He stated that instructions have been issued to expand facilities for the farmers visiting the Muhana Agricultural Produce Market daily. These instructions also encompass ensuring regular sanitation, the proper disposal of fruit and vegetable waste, and undertaking beautification works within the market premises. Furthermore, he directed NHAI officials to carry out large-scale tree plantation drives along both sides of the roads constructed by the NHAI during the monsoon season.
The Member of Parliament for Jaipur Rural emphasized that the construction of proper access roads must be ensured for those residential colonies in Jaipur that have already undergone regularization. He also directed the Chief Medical and Health Officer (CMHO) to expand medical facilities at the Naraina Community Health Centre (CHC) and to ensure the availability of necessary medical equipment for the general public.He instructed the concerned departmental officials to provide a comprehensive list of houses that have been constructed or sanctioned under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Prime Minister’s Housing Scheme) in both the rural and urban areas of Jaipur district. Additionally, he directed departmental officials to ensure the proper maintenance and beautification of parks across Jaipur.Furthermore, instructions were issued to raise awareness among parents regarding the administration of the HPV vaccine to adolescent girls, with the aim of ensuring that the maximum number of girls can benefit from this vaccination. Officials were directed to conduct awareness campaigns in both rural and urban areas to disseminate information to the general public regarding various health-related schemes and vaccination programs.
During the meeting, the progress of various schemes—including the Jal Jeevan Mission, Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana, Sansad Adarsh Gram Yojana, Swachh Bharat Mission, Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchai Yojana, Viksit Bharat @2047, National Health Mission, Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan, Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Rojgar Programme, Pradhan Mantri Khanij Kshetra Kalyan Yojana, and schemes related to Rajasthan Skill and Livelihoods Development—was reviewed.Progress reports regarding works being executed by various departments were presented during the meeting, and elected representatives offered suggestions concerning regional issues and ongoing development projects. Consequently, the concerned officials were directed to take necessary action to address these matters.
District Collector Sandesh Nayak, while briefing the meeting on the progress of various schemes and development works, stated that the district administration is continuously monitoring these initiatives to ensure the effective implementation of schemes and to provide improved facilities to the general public. During the meeting, district-level officials apprised the public representatives of the progress and implementation status of Central and State government schemes pertaining to their respective departments within the district.
Furthermore, during the meeting of the Governing Council of the District Mineral Foundation Trust (DMFT), discussions were held regarding the utilization of DMFT funds for developmental works within the district.
The meeting was attended by District Chief Rama Devi Chopra, MLAs Balmukund Acharya, Gopal Sharma, Dr. Shikha Meel Barala, Prashant Sharma, Shahpura MLA Manish Yadav, and Jamwaramgarh MLA Mahendrapal Meena, along with the Chief Executive Officer of the District Council, Pratibha Verma. Also present were district-level officials from various departments, including the Jaipur Development Authority, Jaipur Municipal Corporation, Energy Department, Public Works Department, Public Health and Engineering Department, Animal Husbandry Department, Education Department, Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Mines Department, Agriculture Department, Forest Department, Food and Civil Supplies Department, and the Medical and Health Department.
