Jaipur. Jaipur Police Commissioner Sachin Mittal held a public hearing at the Vidyadhar Nagar police station on Saturday, listening to the complaints of complainants and directing the concerned officers to resolve them on the spot.
Additional Commissioner of Police (First) Manish Agarwal, Deputy Commissioner of Police (North) Karan Sharma, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (North) Bajrang Singh, Assistant Commissioners of Police (Shastri Nagar) and Kotwali, as well as the concerned SHOs and police station officials were present.Police Commissioner Sachin Mittal stated that many complainants’ problems were resolved on the spot during the public hearing. He added that public hearings are being held daily at the police station level to provide relief to the public.The Police Commissioner stated that during the public hearing, complaints were received regarding personal litigation, family disputes, land disputes, house encroachments, illegal occupation, theft, assault, and other issues. He directed that all complaints be investigated and resolved within the shortest possible timeframe. He also directed the concerned officers to respond promptly and resolve the complaints.
During the public hearing, complainants from the Shastri Nagar, Vidyadhar Nagar, and Bhattabasti police stations of the Shastri Nagar Circle, as well as the Kotwali, Jalupura, Sanjay Circle, and Nahargarh police station areas of the Kotwali Circle, shared their problems with the Police Commissioner and found solutions.A key feature of the public hearing was that complainants’ problems were resolved on the spot. Instructions were also given for the prompt resolution of other time-consuming problems.It is noteworthy that earlier, the Police Commissioner had resolved the problems of the complainants on the spot by holding public hearings at ACP office Jhotwara, Community Hall Sanganer and Police Station Shiprapath.
