The State View Alwar/Jaipur(Sunil Sharma) The Alwar Tiger International Half Marathon was organized on Sunday from Pratap Auditorium in Alwar, under the chief patronage of Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma. Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, along with Union Minister for Environment, Forest and Climate Change Bhupendra Yadav, Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari, and Minister of State for Forest and Environment (Independent Charge) Sanjay Sharma, flagged off the various categories of the marathon. Actor Randeep Hooda, the brand ambassador of the marathon, was also present.
Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma encouraged the winners of the 21-kilometer half marathon elite men’s and women’s categories at the finish line. During this time, he honored Padma Shri awardee Bhapang player Gafuruddin Mewati Jogi by presenting him with a shawl. The marathon included 21-kilometer half marathon elite men’s and women’s categories, 21-kilometer Force Run, 21-kilometer Open Half Marathon, and 10-kilometer Open Marathon.

Amidst the slightly chilly morning breeze, thousands of participants filled the entire atmosphere with enthusiasm and passion. It is noteworthy that this international-level marathon was organized as part of the Alwar MP Sports Festival, based on the themes of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “Fit India Mission,” tiger conservation, and promoting tourism in Alwar.
