Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani Inaugurates Development Works in Various Wards
This Pace of Development Will Continue; Ajmer Will Be a Leader in Tourism, Education, IT, and Employment

Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani said that in the last two years, development works on roads and drains have been carried out in the Ajmer North constituency at a cost of Rs. 170 crore. In the coming days, Ajmer will remain a leader in the fields of tourism, employment, education, and healthcare. This pace of development will continue in Ajmer.Taking another significant step towards strengthening basic amenities in the Ajmer North assembly constituency, Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani inaugurated development works in various wards near Rishi Udyan on Saturday.This included the inauguration of the construction work of the Prabhat Talkies main road in Ward 68, costing Rs. 10 lakh, under the Chief Minister’s budget announcement for the year 2025-26, by the Public Works Department; the construction of a road from Bhairu Ji Temple, Chamar Ghati to Lavkush Udyan in Ward 71, costing Rs. 27 lakh, including wall-to-wall road construction and drain construction; and the construction of a CC road from Dungri Wale Balaji main road to Balaji Temple in Ward 10, costing Rs. 5 lakh.
On this occasion, Speaker Vasudev Devnani said that the state government is giving top priority to the development of basic infrastructure to improve the lives of the common people. Roads are the lifeline of any area, facilitating transportation and strengthening access to trade, education, and healthcare facilities. In the Ajmer North assembly constituency, basic amenities like roads, drains, electricity, and drinking water are being extended to all wards in a phased manner. Devnani also instructed the officials to ensure that there is no compromise on the quality of construction work and that the projects are completed within the stipulated time frame. He said that providing basic amenities to every locality while maintaining the continuity of development work is his priority. He added that several projects, including three reservoirs for drinking water, a super-specialty block at Jawaharlal Nehru Hospital for strengthening healthcare services, a gas-based GSS (Gas Substation), a leopard safari park, an IT park, a science park, a city forest, and various projects related to educational institutions, will propel Ajmer forward on the path of development.
