The closing ceremony for the Tactical Driving, PSO, and UAC courses was held on Saturday, January 31st, as part of the Capacity Building Training Program organized by the National Security Guard at the Intelligence Training Academy, Jaipur. The program was presided over by Inspector General of Police Security, Vishnukant.Academy Director Pradeep Mohan Sharma, Superintendent of Police (ATS) Rajkumar, NSG Course Coordinator Bhupendra Thapa, Additional Superintendent of Police (ITA) Sanjay Kumar Sharma, Jitendra Kumar, Deputy Superintendent of Police Rajulal, academy officers and staff, and participants from all three courses were present at the ceremony.NSG Course Incharge Bhupendra Thapa stated that these training programs were inaugurated on January 13th under the special patronage of the Director General of NSG and under the chairmanship of Director General of Police, Rajasthan, Rajiv Kumar Sharma. The training programs were conducted from January 16th to January 31st.Personnel from various units of the Rajasthan Police, including the Police, ERT Team, SSB, and ATS, participated in these courses. 25 personnel participated in the Tactical Driving Course, 46 in the PSO Course, and 39 in the UAC Course; a total of 110 personnel were trained.
Rigorous Training in Three Categories
The 15-member NSG training team provided practical training in PSO drills, cascades, double tape fire, evacuation drills, medical contingencies, helipad and meeting place deployment, fencing, and more in the PSO Course. The UAC course provided training in martial arts, self-defense, discipline, composure, and empty-hand attack and defense techniques. The Tactical Driving Course provided specialized training in VIP carcade movement, steering control, vehicle handling, and tactical driving skills.
Next phase to be held in Jaipur-Jodhpur: Focus on sniper and anti-drone training
Academy Director Pradeep Mohan Sharma stated that the BDS course will also be conducted at ITA, Jaipur, starting February 2nd. Additionally, the second phase of the Capacity Building Training Program will include sniper, anti-drone, and anti-hostage/counter-terrorist training, beginning February 7th, at the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Police Commando Training School, Jodhpur.Chief Guest IG Vishnukant directed the trainees to share the benefits of the training they received with other personnel at their respective postings and to perform their duties with vigilance, keeping in mind the current security landscape.Additional Superintendent of Police Jitendra Kumar, Deputy Superintendent of Police Rajulal and course in-charge Police Inspectors Laxmi Karadia, Neeraj Sharma, Bharti Thakur, Hiralal Sharma, Manoj Sharma, Nandkishore and Sardar Singh played a special role in the successful conduct of the entire training programme.In the end, Additional Superintendent of Police Sanjay Sharma expressed his gratitude and Academy Director Pradeep Mohan Sharma gave a green salute to the chief guest and presented mementos to the NSG officers.
