Taking effective action, Jaipur Development Authority demolished nine illegal colonies on 127 bighas of land at twelve locations in Zones 10, 11, 12, 14, 18, 22, 24, 13, 1, and 3. One bigha of government land was freed from encroachment. Encroachments falling within road boundaries were also removed.

Inspector General of Police Rahul Kotoki informed that Chief Controller Enforcement Shilpa Chaughari carried out a mass campaign in Jaisinghpura Khor behind Mittal College, Delhi Road, Sabhariya Road, Gwar Jatan, Rainwal Toll Naka, Kalwada to Ajayrajpura Road, Village Joshiwala Khejadon Ka Vas, Kalwada Road Village Bhopawas, District Jaipur city and took action for demolition against illegal colonies and encroachments. During the campaign, in the presence of Deputy Controller Enforcement 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and Enforcement Officer Zone-10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 18, 22, 24, 1, 3, in the presence of new and illegal constructions were made on about 5 bigha private pattadi agricultural land in Jaisinghpura Khor, situated in Ecological Zone under the jurisdiction of Zone-10, near Hotel Hawa Hawai in District Jaipur, near Hotel Hawa Hawai in Jaisinghpura Khor.  On the direction of Inspector General of Police Rahul Kotoki, today on 09.01.2026, the Enforcement Squad, with the help of JCB machine and labourers, thwarted the attempt of establishing an illegal colony by demolishing it at the initial stage itself.

Also, on about 40 bigha private agricultural land in Kalwad Road, village Bhopavas, district Jaipur, situated in the jurisdiction of Zone 12, a new illegal colony was being established by levelling the land and constructing mud roads and other illegal constructions without the approval of JDA and without getting the land conversion done. Under the direction of Inspector General of Police Rahul Kotoki, today on 09.01.2026, on the directions of the revenue and technical staff of Zone 12, the enforcement squad, with the help of JCB machine and labourers, demolished the attempt to establish an illegal colony at the initial stage itself.

On about 10 bigha agricultural land in Jaipur district near Sabhariya Road Kanota situated in the jurisdiction of Zone-24, without the approval-approval of JDA and without getting the land conversion done, a new illegal colony was being established by leveling the land, making mud-gravel roads and other illegal constructions. Under the direction of Inspector General of Police Rahul Kotoki, on 09.01.2026, on the directions of revenue and technical staff of Zone-24, the enforcement squad, with the help of JCB machine and labourers, demolished the attempt of establishing an illegal colony at the initial stage itself.  The encroachments made by erecting cement pillars and fencing on about 1 bigha of government land in Delhi Road, Village Ishwarwala, District Jaipur, situated in the jurisdiction of Zone-13, were removed today on 09.01.2026 by the enforcement squad with the help of JCB machine and labourers on the directions of Revenue and Technical Staff of Zone-13, and the government land was made encroachment free.

Temporary encroachments were made at about 40 places on the road boundary on both sides of Prithviraj Road around Subhash Marg, Vanikipath Secretariat from Bagdia Bhawan situated in the jurisdiction of Zone-01 by putting up hoardings, sign boards, stalls, carts, bamboo tents, tarpaulins and other material. Under a joint campaign with the Municipal Corporation, the Enforcement Cell, on the directions of the Revenue and Technical Staff of Zone-01, today on 09..01.2026, got them removed by the Enforcement Squad with the help of JCB machine and labourers and the road boundary was made encroachment free. The material was seized by the Municipal Corporation squad.  The encroachment done by placing hoardings, sign boards, stalls, carts, bamboo tents, tarpaulins, tables-chairs, counters and other items at around 50 places on both sides of the road boundary from Nehru Complex, Laxmi Mandir Square to Lal Kothi Under Pass Nakul Path, situated in the jurisdiction of Zone 3, was done under a joint campaign with the Municipal Corporation. Today, on the directions of the Revenue and Technical staff of Zone 3, the enforcement squad, with the help of JCB machine and labourers, got the road boundary freed from encroachment. The Municipal Corporation’s squad seized 2 iron counters, 31 chairs, 21 stools, a juice machine in a cart, 04 benches, 02 portable tables, etc.  The above actions were carried out by the enforcement squad under the supervision of Chief Controller Enforcement Shilpa Chaudhary, on the directions of Deputy Controller Enforcement-1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th, Enforcement Officer Zone-10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 18, 22, 24, 1, 3, and the squad available in the authority, labour guards and revenue and technical staff posted in the zone.
