Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari Calls Women the Force that Determines the Nation’s Direction

Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari attended a massive women’s conference organized by the All India Terapanth Mahila Mandal in Siriyari village of Pali district today, on the occasion of the 300th birth anniversary of Acharya Shri Bhikshu.The Deputy Chief Minister was traditionally welcomed by the organizers. A large number of women were present at the conference.
Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari praised the event and congratulated the Mahila Mandal. She said that this conference is extremely important and that this land is a land of spiritual practice and penance. She said that it is through values and traditions that women determine the direction of the nation, and today the role of women has become more important than ever before. She said that women are making their mark in every field of society and the present time has brought a golden opportunity for women. She emphasized the need for everyone to work together to empower every woman. She stressed the importance of connecting the new generation with values and festivals, saying that if this is not done, the coming generation may drift away from traditions.
The Deputy Chief Minister said that women possess immense power, and the need is to recognize that power. She called upon them to work with a spirit of contributing to society. She expressed her pride in being present at the event. She stated that the state government is continuously working to empower women and that women will continue to benefit from various schemes in the future. The Deputy Chief Minister assured the women that she stands with them and that they can contact her directly for any need or problem. Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari also visited the samadhi (memorial) of Acharya Shri Bhikshu.
